表示分散式系統之技術：圖形與文字模型。程序、執行緒、同步與程序間通訊技術、RPC。中介軟體：用戶端-伺服器（CORBA）、叢集、網路服務。資源管理：處理器配置、負載共享、叢集排程、即時議題。協定：OSI 模型、應用層與表示層。
