介紹致病微生物，包括真菌、細菌、病毒與朊毒體。在人體情境下之生化、基因、病理與流行病學面向；與宿主防禦系統之交互作用，以及抗生素與疫苗研發策略。
先修條件
- 先修條件：HLTH 1000 或 HLTH 1001，或經系上許可——不適用於健康科學主修學生。
