Introduction to Computer Science Foundations of Computer Science and computer programming in a high-level language. Topics include computer fundamentals, representation of information, problem solving and software development, programming language syntax and semantics, methods, input/output, control structures and data types. Lectures, 3 hours per week; lab, 2 hours per week; tutorial, 1 hour per week. Note: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
