Occupational Ergonomics Occupational and industrial environments, emphasizing physical demands in the workplace and how people become injured at work. Biomechanical, physiological and psychophysical assessment of workplace tasks, mechanisms of work-related injuries, workplace assessment of injury risk, pre-employment screening and legislated guidelines. Lectures, lab, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to BKin, BPhEd, BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate) and BSc (Kin) majors until date specified in Registration guide.
