Organic Reactions The chemistry of amines, heterocyclic and heteroaromatic compounds. Pericyclic reactions and reactive intermediates. Molecular rearrangements, peptide synthesis and protecting groups, design of organic synthesis. Introduction to organic photochemistry and the chemistry of carbenes. Lectures, lab, 6 hours per week.
