Curso de aulas e laboratório sobre os mecanismos de herança e a natureza da estrutura, composição e função dos genes, introduzindo tanto a genética mendeliana clássica quanto a genética molecular moderna. Recomenda-se fortemente que este curso seja feito por estudantes de Biologia no segundo ano de estudo.

- Pré-requisito(s): BIOL 1103 e BIOL 1104.
Condições e modalidades
- Impede crédito adicional para BIOL 2106 (não é mais oferecido) e BIOL 2107. O crédito por BIOL 2106 só será concedido se o curso tiver sido realizado antes de BIOL 2104.

- Aulas três horas por semana, laboratório ou seminário/tutorial três horas por semana.

Lecture/laboratory course on the mechanisms of inheritance and the nature of gene structure, composition and function, introducing both classical Mendelian genetics and modern molecular genetics. It is strongly recommended that this course be taken by Biology majors in their second year of study.
- Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1103 and BIOL 1104 .
- Precludes additional credit for Precludes additional credit for BIOL 2106 (no longer offered) and BIOL 2107 . Credit for BIOL 2106 will only be given if taken before BIOL 2104 .
