Introdução ao estudo crítico dos escritos do Novo Testamento com discussão de seu pano de fundo helenístico e judaico, o Jesus histórico, Paulo e suas cartas, e explicações históricas e sociológicas para o surgimento da igreja primitiva e a interpretação de seus escritos.
