Konsentrasjoner Mens ett av programmets mål er å gi studentene en integrerende tilnærming til hele regionen, sikrer konsentrasjonen at hver students individuelle program beholder et bestemt fokus. Europa og Eurasia har blitt stadig mer integrert når det gjelder teoretiske og metodologiske tilnærminger. De to underregionene som programmet dekker har imidlertid distinkte historier og arvegods sammen med ulike intellektuelle tradisjoner. Valg av konsentrasjon sikrer at hver students program har et tilstrekkelig nivå av intellektuell sammenheng. Studenter som studerer de post-kommunistiske landene i Sentral- og Øst-Europa som er EU-medlemsstater eller kandidater til medlemskap kan velge enten konsentrasjon, avhengig av det tematiske fokuset i studentens arbeid. Instituttet tilbyr to konsentrasjoner som systematisk trekker fra programmets utvalg av kurs og ekspertise.
