An exploration of the relationship between history and politics. Will examine different forms of history and historical writing, competing conceptions of how to interpret the past, and different accounts of how history is implicated in political judgment and understanding politics.
- Prerequisite(s): Fourth-year Honours standing.
- Also offered at the graduate level, with different requirements, as PSCI 5315 ., for which additional credit is precluded.
- Seminars three hours a week.
