Self-Producing Skills and strategies for producing independent theatre in festival and non-festival formats. Choosing a project, forming a team, creating budgets, scheduling, meetings, effective marketing strategies, and community building. Lecture, seminar, 36 hours. Restriction: open to DART (single or combined) and DART Honours/BEd (Intermediate and Senior) majors until date specified in the Registration guide. Prerequisite(s): DART 2P42 , 2P43 , 2P61 , or 2P62 ; 2P97 , 2P96 , or 2Q92 . Note: offered in spring session for two weeks. Materials fee and field trip fee may be required. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
