초기 로마 제국의 역사 (CLAS 2P97 및 ITAL 2P97 로도 개설) 아우구스투스의 등장(기원전 31년)부터 마르쿠스 아우렐리우스의 사망(서기 180년)까지의 로마사. 제국의 확장과 속주 식민화 등 사회적·정치적 전개를 강조한다. 강의, 세미나, 주당 3시간. 참고: CLAS 2Q96 수강을 권장한다. 이 강좌는 여러 전달 방식으로 제공될 수 있다. 전달 방식은 해당 학기 학사 시간표에 기재된다. 이 과목을 이수하면 이전에 HIST/CLAS/ITAL 3P06에서 부여된 성적과 학점을 대체한다.

History of the Early Roman Empire (also offered as CLAS 2P97 and ITAL 2P97 ) Roman history from the rise of Augustus (31 BCE) to the death of Marcus Aurelius (180 CE). Emphasis on social and political developments, including imperial expansion and provincial colonization. Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Note: CLAS 2Q96 is recommended. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in HIST/CLAS/ITAL 3P06.
