서양미술사에서의 현대적 쟁점 (IASC 1Q99로도 개설됨) 시각적 과거와 현재를 바라보는 다양한 방식 등 서양미술사에서의 주요 쟁점들을 분석한다. 선사시대부터 20세기 초반까지의 시각예술을 중심으로 다룬다. 강의, 세미나, 주당 3시간. 참고: 스튜디오 작업 없음. 현장답사가 요구될 수 있다. 학생은 자신의 비용을 부담해야 한다. 이 과목은 여러 수업 방식으로 제공될 수 있다. 수업 방식은 해당 학기의 학사 시간표에 기재된다. 이 과목을 이수하면 이전에 부여된 LART 1Q99의 성적 및 학점은 대체된다.

Contemporary Issues in The History of Western Art (also offered as IASC 1Q99 ) Analysis of key issues in the history of Western art, including various ways of looking at the visual past and present. Focus on the visual arts from prehistory through the early 20th century. Lectures, seminar, 3 hours week. Note: no studio work. Field trips may be required. Students are expected to pay their own expenses. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in LART 1Q99.
