Care and Prevention of Injuries Treatment, recognition and prevention of musculo-skeletal injuries; the interrelationship of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, and their application including emergency care and preventative taping. Emphasis on risk management strategies and safety practices in sport. Lectures, lab, 4 hours per week. Restriction: open to BKin, BPhEd, BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate) and BSc (Kin) majors. Students must have a minimum of 3.5 overall credits.
