17·18세기 철학의 쟁점 근대 철학의 고전기에서 중심적 중요성을 지닌 특정 사상가 또는 특수 주제. 특정 개인(예: 데카르트, 스피노자, 라이프니츠, 로크, 버클리, 흄, 칸트)에 초점을 맞추지 않을 경우 원인론, 심신합일, 실체론, 인격 동일성 등과 같은 쟁점의 고전적 기원에서의 전개를 추적함. 세미나, 주당 3시간. 선수과목: PHIL 1학점 또는 담당 교강사의 허가.

Issues in 17th- and 18th-Century Philosophy Special issue or a particular thinker of central importance in the classical period of modern philosophy. Where it does not focus upon one individual (e.g., Descartes, Spinoza, Leibniz, Locke, Berkeley, Hume, Kant), the course will trace the development of an issue (e.g., causality, mind-body union, the doctrine of substance, personal identity) through its classical origins. Seminar, 3 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): one PHIL credit, or permission of the instructor.
