Introduction to Sociology I (also offered as SOCI 1P90 ) Major theoretical paradigms, core concepts and research methodologies of sociology as a critical discipline with potential to inform social policy and influence societal change. Foundational academic skills for sociology and critical criminology. Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in CRIM 1F90. #
