Troubling Identities (also offered as CRIM 2P95 ) Sociological perspectives on the processes by which social and personal identities are formed at the nexus between social structural arrangements and everyday lives. Social processes by which these identities may be systematically troubled. Topics may include stigmatization, shaming and marginalization. Lectures, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to SOCI (single or combined) and CRIM majors, CRAS, SOCI and CRIM minors until date specified in Registration guide. Prerequisite(s): SOCI 1P90 and 1P91 (1F90). Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in SOCI 2P52. #
