イベント駆動システムの原理、コンピュータ構成の復習；並列および直列インターフェース；プログラム可能タイマ；I/O方式；ポーリングと割り込み。リアルタイムカーネル。設計上の重要事項：並行性、デッドロック、同期。システム性能の維持と改善。低水準および高水準言語によるプログラミング演習。
