ガスおよび蒸気動力サイクル：再加熱、再生、ガス/蒸気複合サイクル、コジェネレーション。ヒートポンプおよび冷凍サイクル：蒸気圧縮サイクル、吸収冷凍およびガス冷凍。理想気体と蒸気の混合物：空気湿り率（サイコメトリ）と燃焼。ターボ機械の原理。
