聴覚障がい者の言語や文化についてほとんどまたは全く知識のない学生を対象。アメリカ手話（American Sign Language）の基本的なコミュニケーション能力。聴覚障がい者文化の人類学的、社会言語学的、社会文化的側面。出席必須。
