Topics may include reproductive ethics, research on human subjects, animal research and treatment, justice and health care, physician-patient relationships, death and the end of life, and genetic engineering.
- Prerequisite(s): a course in philosophy or second-year standing.

- Lectures three hours a week. Tutorials may be offered in selected terms.
