科学を非専門家にも分かりやすくすることは科学コミュニケーションの基本的な目標である。学生は知識移転の実践的技能、科学を伝えるためのツール、科学コミュニケーションの理論などを学ぶ。学習は講義、討論、プロジェクトベースの活動の組み合わせで行われる。

Students will learn practical skills in knowledge translation, tools for communicating science, theories of science communication, and more. Learning will take place through a combination of lectures, discussions, and project-based activities.
