環境・地球科学における同位体の応用。汚染物のトレーシング、地下水学的研究、元素の(生)地球化学サイクルなど、現在および新規の環境応用に重点を置く。安定同位体分別のメカニズムと分析法を提示する。学生主導のプロジェクトで同位体研究の広範な領域を探究する。

Isotope applications in environmental and Earth sciences. Emphasis is placed current and novel environmental applications including contaminant tracing, hydrogeological studies, and (bio)geochemical cycling of elements. Mechanisms of stable isotope fractionation and analysis are presented. Student-led projects will explore the broad realm of isotope studies.
