栄養、医療、食品・化学産業で有用な生体化合物の生産への生化学の応用。本講義は生細胞、酵素、または細胞外系を用いてスケールでこれらの化合物を効率的に生産するための代謝工学の一般的戦略とツールを扱う。
前提条件
- 履修前提：BIOC 3101 および BIOC 3102 （BIOC 3102 は同時履修可）、または研究所の許可。

The application of biochemistry to the production of biological compounds useful in nutrition, medicine, and the food and chemical industries. This course covers general strategies and tools of metabolic engineering for efficient production of these compounds at scale using living cells, enzymes, or cell-free systems.
- Prerequisite(s): BIOC 3101 and BIOC 3102 ( BIOC 3102 may be taken concurrently), or permission of the Institute.
- Lecture three hours a week.
