Im/migrant and Community Outreach Research and Internship移民／移動者、難民および新来者の経験に関する高度な研究で、社会政治的・文化的・言語的権力ダイナミクスのテーマを拡張する。キャリア志向のインターンシップ経験を通じた地域社会との関わりを促進する。講義、週1時間；60時間のボランティア／実務経験。前提条件：SPAN 3F80 または担当教員の許可。注記：春／夏学期に開講。学生は地域組織や機関へ配属される。海外配属が可能な場合あり。学生は自身の交通手段を用意し、学習目標を作成し、現地訪問に参加し、実習報告書および主要研究論文を作成し、担当教授と協議の上で実習評価に合格することが求められる。学生の言語的背景に応じて、異文化関係や国際的専門化に関する様々な分野でのインターンシップを希望する学生に開放される。本科目は複数の提供方式で開講される場合があります。提供方式は該当学期の学科時間割に掲載されます。*

Im/migrant and Community Outreach Research and Internship Advanced research in the im/migrant, refugee and newcomer experience by expanding on the theme of socio-political, cultural and linguistic power dynamics. Promotes community engagement with career-oriented internship experience. Lectures, 1 hour per week; 60 volunteer/experience hours. Prerequisite(s): SPAN 3F80 or permission of instructor. Note: offered in Spring/Summer session. Students will be placed with community organizations and agencies. Placement abroad may be available. Students will be required to provide their own transportation and prepare learning objectives, participate in a site visit, write a work term report, a major research paper and receive a successful work term performance evaluation in consultation with professor. Open to students interested in pursuing various internships in areas of intercultural relations and international professionalization in various fields depending on the student's linguistic background. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. *
