問題解決 洞察と創造的思考を用いた数学的問題の解法。題目は鳩の巣原理、有限集合と可算集合、確率論、合同式と可除性、多項式、生成関数、不等式、極限、幾何学、数学的ゲームなどを含むことがあります。講義、週3時間；実習/チュートリアル、週1時間。前提条件：MATH 1P01または1P05；MATH 1P11または1P12；MATH 2P92（2P71）またはMATH/STAT 2P81、あるいは担当教員の許可。注：数学的問題解決コンペティションに参加を希望する学生に推奨されます。このコースは複数の提供形態で開講される場合があります。提供方法は該当学期の時間割に記載されます。

Problem Solving Solving mathematical problems using insight and creative thinking. Topics may include pigeonhole principle, finite and countable sets, probability theory, congruences and divisibility, polynomials, generating functions, inequalities, limits, geometry, and mathematical games. Lectures, 3 hours per week; lab/tutorial, 1 hour per week. Prerequisite(s): MATH 1P01 or 1P05; MATH 1P11 or 1P12 ; MATH 2P92 (2P71) or MATH/STAT 2P81 or permission of instructor.
