工学向け応用微積分 I（Applied Calculus I For Engineers） 微分学：問題解決、計算および応用に重点を置く。前準備の内容、極限と漸近解析、連続性、導関数と可微分性、陰関数微分、線形近似。応用例：傾き、変化率、極大・極小、凸性、曲線の概形、ロピタルの定理。原始関数、不定積分、積分、微積分学の基本定理、置換による積分。工学分野の例題。コンピュータ代数システムの使用。講義、週3時間；実習（ラボ）週1時間；チュートリアル週1時間。制限：工学専攻に開放。注：本コースは複数の履修形態で提供される場合があります。提供方法は該当学期の学事予定表に記載されます。本コースの修了はMATH 1P01で以前に取得した成績と単位に置き換わります。

Applied Calculus I For Engineers Differential calculus emphasizing problem solving, calculation and applications. Precalculus topics,limits and asymptotic analysis, continuity, derivative and differentiability, implicit differentiation, linear approximation. Applications: slope, rate of changes, maximum and minimum, convexity, curve sketching, L'Hospitial's rule. Antiderivatives, intergrals, fundamental theorem of calculus, integration by substitution. Examples from Engineering . Use of a computer algebra system. Lectures, 3 hours per week; lab, 1 hour per week, tutorial 1 hour per week. Restriction: Open to Engineering Majors Note: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previously assigned grade and credit obtained in MATH 1P01.
