説明
Calculus Concepts II 積分学：概念、理論、コンピュータを用いた問題解決に重点。さらなる積分技法。曲線間の面積、体積、弧長、確率への応用。多変数微積分：偏導関数、二変数関数の最適化。数列と級数：収束判定法、テイラー級数とマクローリン級数および応用。常微分方程式：方向場、分離可能方程式、増減、ロジスティック方程式、線形方程式。Maple の使用。講義、週3時間；ラボ/チュートリアル、週1時間。前提条件：MATH 1P01、1P05 または担当教員の許可。注：数学専攻および/または将来の教員を対象とする。本コースは複数の履修形態で提供される場合があります。提供方法は該当学期の学事予定表に記載されます。ソフトウェア料必要。本コースの修了は MATH 1P06 で以前に取得した成績と単位に置き換わります。

Calculus Concepts II Integral calculus emphasizing concepts, theory and computers to solve problems. Further integration techniques. Applications to areas between curves, volumes, arc length and probabilities. Multivariable calculus: partial derivatives, optimization of functions of two variables. Sequences and series: convergence tests, Taylor and Maclaurin series and applications. Differential Equations: direction fields, separable equations, growth and decay, the logistic equation, linear equations. Use of Maple. Lectures, 3 hours per week; lab/tutorial, 1 hour per week. Prerequisite(s): MATH 1P01, 1P05 or permission of instructor. Note: intended for mathematics majors and/or future teachers. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Software Fee Required. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in MATH 1P06 .
