Description
Social Movements and Globalization (also offered as POLI 4P68 ) Restructuring of social movements from around the world in new alliances for global justice. Topics may include relations between local and global scales, cross-cultural collaboration, tensions between unity and diversity, conflicts and unequal power relations in networks and North-South inequalities. May include indigenous movements, transnational feminism, the anti-corporate globalization movement and environmentalism. Séminaire, 3 heures par semaine. Restriction : ouvert aux majeures SOCI (simple ou combinée), CRIM et POLS (simple ou combinée) jusqu'à la date indiquée dans le guide d'inscription. Les étudiantes/étudiants doivent avoir l'autorisation pour la 4e année (honours). Remarque : ce cours peut être offert selon plusieurs modes d'enseignement. Le mode d'enseignement sera indiqué à l'horaire universitaire, au trimestre applicable. L'obtention de ce cours remplacera la note et le crédit précédemment attribués en GEOG 4P68.

- Remarque : ce cours peut être offert selon plusieurs modes d’enseignement. Le mode d’enseignement sera inscrit à l’horaire académique, pour le terme applicable. Le suivi de ce cours remplacera la note et le crédit précédemment obtenus en GEOG 4P68.
