Descripción
Conceptos de mediación entre lo antiguo y lo nuevo en la arquitectura a escala de ciudad hasta el detalle de la junta constructiva. Se exploran cuestiones de sostenibilidad e identidad cultural iluminadas por la arquitectura reciclada y la reutilización adaptativa mediante lecturas, dibujos y estudios de caso. (Optativa Teoría/Historia).
Prerrequisitos
- Prerrequisito(s): Estatus de tercer año en el programa B.A.S. o por permiso del instructor o estatus de cuarto año en el programa B.Eng. Conservación Arquitectónica y Sostenibilidad.

Concepts of mediating old and new architecture at the scale of the city through to the detail of the construction joint. Issues in sustainability and cultural identity illuminated by recycled architecture and adaptive reuse are explored through readings, drawings and case studies. (Theory/History Elective).
- Prerequisite(s): third-year standing in the B.A.S. program or by permission of the instructor or fourth-year standing in the B.Eng. Architectural Conservation and Sustainability program.
- Lectures three hours a week.
