Descripción
Este curso dará sentido al trumpismo y a otros populismos de derecha interrogando sus antecedentes e historias sociológicas. Los estudiantes aprenderán a reconocer los sistemas y estructuras que hacen posibles a los líderes populistas, y cómo las tendencias en Norteamérica se relacionan con movimientos de extrema derecha en otros lugares.
Prerrequisitos
- Requisito(s): SOCI 1001 y SOCI 1002, o SOCI 1003 [1.0], o ANTH 1001, o ANTH 1002, y estar en tercer año.

This course will make sense of Trumpism and other rightwing populisms by interrogating their sociological backgrounds and histories. Students will learn to recognize the systems and structures that make populist leaders possible, and how trends in North America relate to far-right movements elsewhere.
- Prerequisite(s): SOCI 1001 and SOCI 1002 , or SOCI 1003 [1.0], or ANTH 1001 , or ANTH 1002 , and third-year standing.
- Lecture three hours a week.
