Un curso para no especialistas interesados en cómo funciona el cuerpo humano. Los temas incluirán moléculas biológicas, células, genética y varios sistemas de órganos. Se usarán ejemplos para conectar los conceptos enseñados en el curso con el conocimiento general sobre la salud y enfermedad humana.

A course for non-specialists interested in how the human body works. Topics will include biological molecules, cells, genetics, and various organ systems. Examples will be used to connect concepts taught in the course with general knowledge of human health and disease.
- Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1103 , CHEM 1001 , and CHEM 1002 . Students in Biology and Biochemistry programs may only take this course as a free elective.
- Lectures three hours a week.
