Temas seleccionados en estudios africanos no tratados ordinariamente en el programa regular de cursos. La elección del tema varía de un año a otro. Los estudiantes deben consultar con el instituto respecto al tema ofrecido.
Prerrequisitos
- Requisito(s): estar en cuarto año y al menos 1.0 crédito en AFRI o permiso del Instituto de Estudios Africanos.
Condiciones y modalidades

- También ofrecido a nivel de posgrado, con requisitos diferentes, como AFRI 5050, por el cual se impide crédito adicional.
- Seminario tres horas por semana.

Selected topics in African studies not ordinarily treated in the regular course program. The choice of topic varies from year to year. Students should check with the institute regarding the topic offered.
- Prerequisite(s): fourth-year standing and at least 1.0 credit in AFRI or permission of the Institute of African Studies.
- Also offered at the graduate level, with different requirements, as AFRI 5050 , for which additional credit is precluded.
- Seminar three hours per week.
