Identidades Problemáticas (también ofrecido como SOCI 2P95) Perspectivas sociológicas sobre los procesos mediante los cuales las identidades sociales y personales se forman en el nexo entre las disposiciones estructurales sociales y la vida cotidiana. Procesos sociales por los cuales estas identidades pueden ser sistemáticamente problematizadas. Los temas pueden incluir estigmatización, humillación y marginación. Clases magistrales, 3 horas por semana. Restricción: abierto a las especialidades CRIM y SOCI (simples o combinadas), y a las menores CRIM, CRAS y SOCI hasta la fecha especificada en la Guía de registro. Prerrequisito(s): CRIM 1P90 y 1P91 (1F90). Nota: este curso puede impartirse en múltiples modalidades. La modalidad de impartición se indicará en el horario académico, en el periodo correspondiente. La finalización de este curso reemplazará la calificación y el crédito previamente asignados obtenidos en SOCI 2P52.

Troubling Identities (also offered as SOCI 2P95 ) Sociological perspectives on the processes by which social and personal identities are formed at the nexus between social structural arrangements and everyday lives. Social processes by which these identities may be systematically troubled. Topics may include stigmatization, shaming and marginalization. Lectures, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to CRIM and SOCI (single or combined) majors, CRIM, CRAS, and SOCI minors until date specified in Registration guide. Prerequisite(s): CRIM 1P90 and 1P91 (1F90). Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in SOCI 2P52.
