Description
Presentation of varieties of spoken French in Canada. Study of historical and sociopolitical aspects of the establishment of French in New France. Laurentian and Acadian varieties. Analysis of linguistic traits. Sociolinguistic issues. Language contact, bilingualism, linguistic minorities.
