Spoken Word Poetry Workshop

Description

This intermediate-level workshop-based course explores traditions of spoken word poetry while requiring students to create and perform their own spoken word poems.

Prerequisites

  • Prerequisite(s): a grade of B+ or higher in one of: ENGL 2901 , ENGL 2903 , ENGL 2914 , ENGL 2915 . Students who lack the prerequisite must submit a writing sample. Instructions can be found at carleton.ca/english.
