Description

Study of the structure and functioning of the linguistic system through analysis of French data (from France and Canada). Construction of meaning, from sounds to discourse; oral and written codes.

Prerequisites

  • Prerequisite(s): FREN 1100 or FREN 1110 with a grade of C or higher or permission of the Department. This course may be taken concurrently with FREN 2100 or FREN 2110 .

  • Three-hour-per-week course.
