Introduction to academic thinking techniques and practices: documentation (library, databases, critical bibliographies), reading (analysis, synthesis and critical evaluation of scholarly texts) and reflection (theoretical framework, method of analysis, practice of reasoned discourse).

  • Prerequisite(s): FREN 2202 , FREN 2203 and FREN 2401 , or permission of the Department.

  • Three-hour-per-week course.
