Description
A survey of indigenous histories in northern North America from earliest times to the present. The course will cover pre-contact histories; military, economic, social, and cultural encounters with newcomers; indigenous experiences with settler colonialism; and the struggle over decolonization. - Prerequisite(s): a 2000-level history course or third-year standing and 1.0 credit in history.
