Description

Study of a selection of texts from various genres allowing exploration of the origins of French literature: orality and writing; chansons de geste; courtliness (courtoisie); travel narratives; court literature; humanism. Different theoretical approaches to the literary text.

  • Prerequisite(s): FREN 2202 and FREN 2203 or permission of the Department.
