Launch and spacecraft propulsion: liquid/solid/hybrid rockets, ram/scramjets, combined cycle engines, electrothermal, electromagnetic, electrostatic, nuclear, and propellantless propulsion. Trajectory analysis, multi-staging, separation dynamics. Advanced engine concepts.

  • Prerequisite(s): MAAE 2400 , ( MAAE 3300 OR MECH 3310 ) and MATH 3705 .
