Empirical Finance I Introduction to empirical research methods in investment finance. Discussion topics include key financial models, statistical and econometric techniques, empirical testing, financial databases and empirical results interpretation. Development of research skills through practical assignments with real stock markets and mutual funds data. Note: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in MSCM 5P42 and/or 5P48 .
