Description
Gender and Violence (also offered as WGST 2P92 ) Feminist sociological examination of various issues related to gender and violence across the lifespan. Topics may include intersectional analyses of dominant social systems of power and violence, rape culture, structural forms of gender-based violence, war, militarization, and the gendered dimensions of serial murder. Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: students must have a minimum of 4.0 overall credits. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery.
