Description
Curatorial Studies Practicum (also offered as STAC 4F41 ) Practical application of the critical and theoretical aspects of curating. Research and organization of an exhibition from proposal, thesis, work-plan, budget, marketing and program plan to dissemination and presentation of works of art within a professional gallery. Lectures, seminar, lab, 6 hours per week. Restriction: open to STAC , VISA (single and combined) and VISA (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior) until date specified in registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 10.0 overall credits or permission of the Centre. Prerequisite(s): STAC or VISA 3P42 . Note: field trips may be required. Students are expected to pay their own expenses. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
