Description

Community Health Nursing (International) Theory and practice emphasizing primary health care principles, assessment and health promotion with individuals, families, aggregates and communities in an international setting. Lectures, 35 hours; practicum, 150 hours. Restriction: open to NUSC majors and permission of the Department. Prerequisite(s): NUSC 3P94 . Note: proof of a valid passport; visa, immunization and CPR certification as required. Students will be required to apply to attend this course; spaces are not guaranteed. Students must be a minimum 18 years of age. Students are expected to pay their own expenses. A practicum fee will be applied. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
