Description
Introductory Physics II Statics and dynamics of fluids; heat and thermodynamics; geometrical and wave optics; electric and magnetic forces; DC circuits; special topics in modern physics. Lectures, 4 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): PHYS 1P21 or permission of the instructor. Note: this algebra-based course is designed for students in the natural and health sciences and/or future teachers. Students may not concurrently register in PHYS 1P92 or 1P96 . This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Materials fee required. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in PHYS 1P23, 1P92 , 1P93, and 1P96 .
