Description
Diaspora/Diasporas: Cross-cultural Texts and Context Critical approaches to 'diaspora-space' and 'diaspora-times' in the formation of narrative identity across travel writing (diaries, chronicles, letters) autobiographies, and oral narrative discourse. Diasporic parameters focus on Ibero-Afro/Latin America. Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): 10.0 overall credits or permission of the instructor. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
