Description
Feeding the World: Restorative Engineering Engineering techniques to protect and remediate the environment. Topics include site remediation (brownfields, agricultural land, greenhouse, fish treatment plant, etc.), ecosystem restoration, and waste management. Analysis of biocommodity production from the treatment of different waste streams through the concept of circular economy. Seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to Engineering minor students until date specified in Registration guide or permission of instructor. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery.
