Advanced Object-Oriented Programming Topics may include graphical user interfaces, animation, sound, music, networking, parallelism, client-server and XML using game design as an example. Object-oriented program design including UML and design patterns. Introduction to advanced Java APIs. Lectures, 3 hours per week; lab 2 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): two COSC credits. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in COSC 3P40.
