Reading for Business Purposes Comprehension of university-level reading to understand ideas from academic and business texts, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating information from varied sources. Development of critical reading skills and academic and business vocabulary through authentic material and scaffolded practice. Skills to become an independent reader and monitor own reading process. Lectures, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to Professional Masters Preparation Certificate-Business students. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery.
