Description

Governance and Policy in Sport Governance structures and processes related to policy within public, commercial and non-profit sport sectors in Canada. Emphasis on how to implement effective governance systems and policies, and the associated challenges in managing relationships between sport policy makers, stakeholders and members. Lectures, 3 hours per week. Restriction: Open to SPMA majors. Prerequisite(s): SPMA 1P91 (minimum 60 percent) and 1P92 (minimum 60 percent). Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit in SPMA 2P06 and 3P26 .
